Parking in Historic Folsom

The City of Folsom completed construction of the Railroad Block Parking Structure on March 20th.  This new facility will add over 300 new parking spaces for Historic Folsom visitors and employees.  However, there are many changes still in the works for Historic Folsom, and we are still faced with parking challenges.  It is therefore important that visitors and employees work together to make the best use of the parking in Historic Folsom.

To that end, the City has developed a parking map and parking guide to assist motorists to find the best available parking for their needs.

To view a parking map where timed/untimed parking locations are identified click   here.  For an information sheet for visitors/customer and employees/merchant with a few tips and pointers for parking in the Historic District and City of Folsom contact information click   here.

Public Works Day

Every year, the Public Works and Utilities Departments celebrate Public Works Day to commemorate the achievements of public works in the daily lives of all Americans. The City of Folsom's celebration is scheduled during the American Public Works Association's nationally proclaimed "National Public Works Week."

Educational materials, games and interactive activities will be offered during Public Works and Public Participation Day and City equipment and vehicles will be available for viewing.

Public Works and Public Participation Day

As in past years, the Public Works and Utilities Departments will share Public Works Day with other City departments, as part of Folsom's Public Participation Day. Public Works and Public Participation Day will give visitors an opportunity to meet City employees and gain information about the many City departments.
